Welcome to the web home for our ministry. We work with Campus Crusade for Christ in the Mid-Atlantic region. Dave’s primary function is the Regional Director for Ethnic Student Ministries. As regional directors our role is to help lead the hundreds of staff that work for Campus Crusade for Christ in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Our passion is seeing a student gripped with the reality of the life, ministry and death of Jesus Christ and choosing to entrust their lives to Him. Specifically we are working to reach the over 500,000 ethnic student that live and learn in our region. As we look to the future 40 and 50 years from now today’s ethnic students are going to be tomorrow’s leaders. We feel that it is vital that these students hear about the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
The amazing thing is that so often ethnic students get lost in the mix of everyone else. Culturally their experience is far different than the mainstream and our hope is to give them a contextualized environment in which culture is not the obstacle to the gospel. Unquestionably African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans and International students have their own cultures in which they feel most comfortable. Our vision is to minister to these students where they are. To that end we are trusting Jesus to raise up the laborers and resources to reach every student in the Mid-Atlantic Region including the ethnic students.
